Our team is growing, and we are looking for a dedicated Security IT Technician to join us and help support and secure our clients’ IT infrastructure and security systems.

**Position Overview**

As a Security IT Technician, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our clients’ digital and physical assets. This role combines traditional IT security support with hands-on installation and maintenance of physical security systems such as surveillance cameras, access control, and alarm systems.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Monitor and manage network and security systems to detect and respond to threats and vulnerabilities.
- Install, configure, and maintain cybersecurity tools (firewalls, antivirus, IDS/IPS, etc.).
- Perform security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability scans.
- Respond to cybersecurity incidents and coordinate remediation efforts.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot surveillance camera systems (CCTV).
- Install and maintain access control systems and electronic locking mechanisms.
- Set up, configure, and troubleshoot alarm systems and monitoring devices.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for hardware and security installations.
- Assist in developing and enforcing IT and physical security policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with security frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.).
- Provide end-user support for security-related technical issues.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Proven experience as an IT Technician with a focus on security.
- Strong knowledge of IT network security principles, tools, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with physical security systems (CCTV, access control, alarm systems).
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client sites as needed.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Network+, or equivalent) are considered an asset.

Pay: $55,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
