We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking General Labourer to join our landscaping team. This role involves a variety of tasks, including landscaping, hardscaping, snow removal, and assisting with civil construction projects. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Follow instructions from supervisors to perform general labour duties including shoveling, cutting & laying stone, raking, and compacting
- Assist in preparing job sites for hardscape installations by clearing debris, removing existing structures, and grading the area as needed.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at the job site.
- Support skilled workers in the installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, treads etc.
- Assist in the placement and leveling of materials to ensure precision and accuracy in construction.
- Assist in grading activities to create the desired contours and levels for hardscape installations.
- Work with team members to ensure proper drainage solutions and erosion control.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
- Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required for specific tasks.
- Maintain a tidy and organized work environment at all times
- Shovel and clear snow in the winter
- Support other teams as needed, including pipe and paving crew
- Put up signs, fencing, cones, and flag for road work when needed
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

**THE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES NEEDED**:

- Understand or desire to learn landscape construction and design
- Capable of repetitive lifting and handling physically demanding tasks
- Reliable, motivated and energetic
- Team player with a positive attitude and able to take direction from supervisors regarding project specifications
- Enjoy working outside and in various weather conditions

**YOUR QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Valid G license and clean driving record
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Prior related experience considered an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
