Oscar Ladouceur & Son is a growing company providing mechanical & HVAC services in Cornwall ON and surrounding areas since 1948. We are seeking a self-motivated individual to join our team as a Service Plumber or Plumbing apprentice.

In collaboration with the Project Manager, the Plumber will install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing used for water distribution, wastewater disposal, and gas within the industrial and commercial environment.
- **Responsibilities**:_
- Ensure all installations, repairs, and maintenance meet the requirements of the appropriate codes
- Knowledge of the standard methods, materials, and equipment used in plumbing
- Assemble pipe sections, tubing and fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angle, using hand and power tools or machines such as pipe cutters, pipe-threading machines, and pipe-bending machines
- Assess and execute blueprints and drawings with appropriate building codes and specifications to determine work details and procedure
- Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to detect and locate leak.
- **Skills & Qualification**:_
- Licensed plumber or experienced apprentice
- 3+ years of experience preferred
- Mechanical knowledge/skills
- Great attention to detail
