**What you will be doing**:

- Collaborates within the Human Resources Department to participate in the research, creation and implementation of HR programs, policy and procedure;
- Supports talent acquisition as required by managing full cycle recruitment for assigned vacancies;
- Works with new hires and managers during onboarding, working to strengthen the way we deliver the onboarding and orientation processes;
- Responds to employee and manager questions about HR programs and procedures; and provide managers with guidance in handling employee relations issues;
- Conducts investigations when required and recommends appropriate actions based on findings;
- Supports employees and managers through their benefits and leave management needs;
- Ensures accurate and timely information updates in Human Resources platforms and provides reports as required;
- Other tasks as assigned.

**What you need to bring**:

- 5 - 8 years experience as a Human Resources generalist, with expertise in Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Workforce Planning, Talent Management, Compensation and HR Systems;
- Solid understanding of Employment Standards, Human Rights and other Human Resources related legislation;
- Previous experience implementing and working with an HR Information System is an asset, particularly experience working with UKG (Ultipro/Kronos);
- A self-motivated professional with a high level of initiative, a sense of urgency, and the proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
- Proven ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion and tact;
- Excellent time management skills with the proven ability to follow through and meet deadlines;
- Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy;
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff at all levels of the organization;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a comfort level speaking in front of others;
- Ability to respond to issues and enquiries in a timely and professional manner; with a focus on finding solutions to challenges;
Salary range for this position is $70,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year. Finding and retaining the right people is very important to us.
