**ANUVO Assessment Specialist**

ANUVO is the education support solution. ANUVO is purpose-built to engage each child in a safe environment based on the information specific to them which is informed by their psycho-educational and ANUVO Learning Preference Assessment reports.

**Position**: ANUVO Consulting Assessment Specialist
Consulting Child, Youth, Adolescent, & Young Adult Assessment Specialist includes:

- Psychologist
- Psychotherapist
- Psychometrist
- Social Worker
- Behavior Analyst
- Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA)

**Position Description**

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Administer psychological, psycho-educational, and/or behavioral assessments and diagnostic services to
- Children
- Youth
- Adolescent
- Young Adult
- Conduce clinical interview virtual or in-person
- Administer assessment, testing in the student´s home or an ANUVO Educational Center setting
- Assessment Scoring - Providing scores on assessment measures
- Assessment Interpretation - Interpretation of assessment measures
- Report writing - provide written comprehensive assessment reports and intervention recomendations.
- Feedback session with the parent or guardian
- Feedback session with the student
- Submit report to ANUVO Center Education Specialists
- Examine and assess behaviour to diagnose behavioural, emotional and cognitive disorders
- Maintain accurate records
- Plan intervention programs
- Plan intervention programs and conduct program evaluation as needed

**Qualifications**
- D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Educational/School Psychology
- Master's degree in the field of counselling, mental health or a related social service discipline is required
- Current registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario, college of psychotherapists of ontario license with competencies in assessment and treatment of children, adolescents and families
- Current registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario, the College of Psychotherapists of Ontario license with competencies in assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, youth, young adult, and families
- Experience in assessment and diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, intellectual and Developmental Disability, Learning Disability, with thorough experience in developmental, cognitive, academic, socio-emotional and behavioural assessment
- Experience consulting and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Must provide proof of registration with your regulatory college & malpractice insurance
- Must have valid criminal check and vulnerable sector screening

**Skills and Abilities**
- Fluently Bi-Lingual (speak, read, and writes) in French and English is preferred
- interpersonal, and communication skills
- Outgoing people-oriented
- Proven ability to supervise, coach, and develop student completing psychology Masters or doctoral degrees
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong organizational skills; Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and be flexible
- Proven ability to communicate effectively in writing; Ability to proofread and edit copy
- Ability to work collaboratively; Strong team player
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
