Insurance Product Development Manager

**As a Manager, Product Development, a typical day will include**:

- Working closely with:

- Practice Group Leaders, Account Executives, Account Managers, and Marketers to identify product opportunities specific to their books of business;
- Director, Market Management to negotiate growth agreements and incentives for new products with markets;
- Internal Claims team to identify trends and gaps in coverage for product development;
- Internal Marketing to develop sell sheets and presentations for new products; and
- Internal Underwriter where products are specific to binding authorities.
- Identifying and prioritizing opportunities for insurance product development, both within Axis existing book of business and for potential new clientele
- Leading benchmarking projects
- Leveraging market relationships to negotiate specific products
- Managing a team of insurance professionals

**Must haves**:

- At least 8-10 years of Commercial Insurance experience
- General Agent Level II Insurance license through the Insurance Council of BC

**You want a leg up?**
- CAIB or CIP insurance designation
- Knowledge of EPIC
