_**Red Seal / Journeyman Auto Body Technician**_

We’re currently seeking an Automotive Body Technician to join our team at Insta Auto Solutions in Edmonton

**Duties**:

- Repairing or replacing damaged body parts with factory and dealership specifications.
- Complete frame structural repair, body sheet metal, plastic, fiberglass component replacement and alignments
- Complete disassembly of vehicle at the beginning of the repair
- Adjust or align headlights, wheels, and brake systems
- Must know how to read estimates and follow repair procedure
- Ability to paint the damaged parts that can be fixed
- Work with repair planning to confirm damages and complete supplement
- Confirm all parts are correct and undamaged while working with parts technician
- Cover openings and protect interior from dust and damage
- Ensure all straightening and repairs are completed to specs and company standards
- Use equipment properly and in a way that promotes safety for yourself and others
- Collaborate effectively with paint
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment

**Journeyman Certificate (or Red Seal)**:

- **1 year experience in automotive dealershi**p
- Must be able to demonstrate exceptional, management, organizational and communication skills
- Proven successful track record with repairs
- Team player and self-motivated

We are a family owned dealership specializing in sales, finance to subprime customers. Insta Auto Solutions focuses on gently used cars and trucks of all makes and models. Our focus is on Sub-prime financing.

**Salary**: $27.00-$35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Licence/Certification:

- Red seal License OR Journeyman License (required)
