Auto Body Technician

Newport Collision is looking for an Experienced Auto Body Technician to work 40 plus hours a week. One year of experience in this field preferred.
Tasks Include: Removing & reinstalling parts on a variety of vehicles. Prep for painting.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
Remove badly damaged sections of vehicles (ie roof, rear body panels, etc.) and weld in new sections. Repair damage to body panels and weld sheet metal repair and/or replace interior and exterior components such as instrument panels, seat frame assemblies, carpets and floorboard insulation, trim panels and moldings inspect vehicles for dimensional accuracy and test drive them to ensure proper alignment and handling
Maintain a safe working environment and follow all policies and procedures regarding safety
Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience is essential.
Solid communication, job task planning and organizing skills.
Attention to detail, self-motivated and flexible.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in a timely manner.
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, changing environment.
Ability to work within a team oriented work environment.
Ability to and licensed (clean drivers license) to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
