Mulcher/logging Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking an Experienced Mulcher Operator and Logging Operators (Buncher, Skidder, Processor) to join our team. The work is in Fort McMurray at various Suncor sites, camp accommodations will be provided.
**Responsibilities**:
- Operate equipment efficiently and safely.
- Regular maintenance schedule, daily servicing and paperwork is required.
- Troubleshoot issues and perform minor repairs as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work efficiently to meet project timelines.
- Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with other Supervisor and other crew members to ensure smooth operation.
- Assist in re-fueling of machines.
**Qualifications**:
- At least one season of experience operating a mulcher.
- Basic mechanical skills for equipment maintenance.
- Ability to work independently.
- Willingness to learn new processes and procedures.
- Ability to work well in a busy and sometimes stressful environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of company employees.
- Must be able to fill out required paperwork properly and on time.
- Ability to work in all types of weather temperatures/conditions.
- OSSA certification, BSO or CSO equivalent.
- CSTS, H2S Alive, Standard First aid/CPR, Wildlife Awareness, TDG, Ground Disturbance training required.
- Ability to work a 24 and 4 schedule.
- Must be clean shaven
**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: $26.00-$38.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
Expected start date: 2025-09-08
