** Summary**

DMC is currently looking for a **Mine Technician** to join our team on a **full-time contract position**in Sudbury, ON. The Mine Technician will be responsible for assisting with underground construction and development activities. The incumbent will ensure that project specifications and requirements are adhered to, while assisting with QA/QC requirements.

** Responsibilities**
- Provides prominent organizational skills to support the construction team for underground work.
- Works closely with the Project Engineer to ensure all requirements to execute the work are available and supported in a timely manner.
- Regularly audit job boards for missing prints or information.
- Regular audits of material to ensure material is available for upcoming tasks.
- Proficient with surveying. Ability to markup new headings, markup construction anchors and other civil structures.
- Complete concrete sampling (slump testing, collect break cylinders) as required.
- Complete a detailed report of work being completed on a shift by shift basis.
- Other related duties as may be assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Diploma in Mining (or Civil) Technology
- Entry level position, 0-3 years of experience preferred.
- Proficient on a computer with excellent skills in basic programs (Word, Execl).
- Proficient at AutoCAD.
- Exceptional written, oral communication and client management skills
