Metro ATTA Elevator is an independently owned, full service elevator company, currently serving the Metro Vancouver area. Our goal is to build long-term relationships with our customers by being fully transparent, providing quality services and a best in-class customer experience.

Due to the continual strong growth of the company and in preparation for its planned expansion across British Columbia, a full time, in house, experienced **Operations Coordinator **is being added to the team. This is a new position.

**Responsibilities**

The position will assist and support the President as he transitions his role and transfers administrative and internal operational duties to the Operations Coordinator.

An example of the job duties:

- Champion the effective use, maintenance and data integrity of the software platform (Liftkeeper) that manages the elevator maintenance and construction portfolio.
- Oversee the daily functioning of the office as it relates to protocols, procedures, and co-worker responsibilities.
- Ensure that dispatching requirements are complete and operational to standards.
- Review and approve weekly billing of chargeable events.
- Review and approve progress billing on active construction projects.
- Be the contact for receipt of all maintenance and construction tenders and oversee them to completion, submission, and follow-up.
- Organize, plan, and schedule all maintenance and construction walk-through visits.
- Receive, action, and manage all communications with customers, consultants and project managers.
- Lead the process of estimating including collecting vendor quotes, analysis of inputs and prices and assemble into documented form.
- a variety of other duties, tasks and responsibilities as the company evolves and as assigned by the President to the role

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Minimum 2 years related experience; previous experience in or knowledge of the elevator, mechanical services and/or construction industry would be an asset.
- Post-secondary education in the areas of office administration and/or equivalent experience in a related field(s), is preferred.
- Strong learning agility and a willingness to continually learn, develop and take charge.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), and Microsoft Teams.
- Ability to solve problems, make critical decisions and prioritize attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Superior organizational, time management and efficiency skills.
- Ability to establish a good working relationship with management, co-workers, subcontractors, consultants, trades people among others;
- A self-starter and motivator that is reliable, dependable and focused

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
