**Job Overview**:
**Operations Coordinator Responsibilities**:
- As Operations Coordinator, you will report directly to the Operations Manager, and will have overall responsibility for assisting in the day-to-day operations.
- Dispatching, tracking, and scheduling of orders in accordance with customer needs.
- Liaising and negotiating with the appropriate suppliers.
- Professional and effective communication with customers and suppliers.
- Prepare Bills of Lading, Work Orders, and other necessary documents through use of the company’s Transportation Management System.
- Addressing and resolving shipment issues and responding to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
**Operations Coordinator Requirements**:
- High school diploma/GED required.
- Degree in Business Administration, Logistics or related field will be preferred, but is not required.
- 2+ years of experience in customer service and/or related logistics field.
- Customer-centric mindset.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities.
- Good time management skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
