**Data Coordinator**:

The Data Coordinator is responsible for receiving Underwriting and Claims data, quality assuring, transforming and loading into sub-technical ledgers. This role requires good knowledge of accounting systems and processes, combined with solid understanding of data management and governance.

Your job

Major Duties:

- Proactively manage the data quality of assigned clients looking for patterns and suggest process changes to improve quality of information.
- Produce the Key Performance Indicators for assigned clients understanding the drivers of any changes particularly data quality measures.
- Facilitate processing of new business, renewals, endorsements and claims to ensure high quality and up to date records within the systems.
- Maintain assigned client accounts in good standing across various systems on the accounting side.
- Assist the finance department in any account reconciliations.
- Effectively communicate with external clients regarding account queries.
- Prepare ad hoc reporting and analysis and support the team as requested

Supporting Duties:

- Prepare statistical information like Gross Written Premium, loss reports and regulatory reporting as needed.
- Assist and/or participate in company’s data governance initiatives, innovative business ideas, projects, and knowledge workshops.
- Transfer knowledge with team members to further develop various processes.
- Proactive in finding and implementing process efficiencies for the entire team.

**Profile**:

- Completion of College/University.
- Interest in acquiring Accounting or Underwriting designation desired.
- 2 years work experience in similar sized team.
- Proficient in Excel (Vlookups, Pivots).
- Working knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI.
- Working knowledge of any relational databases (Access etc).
- Insurance industry experience.
- Effectively work in a team environment and on an individual basis.
- Deadline driven.
- Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
