**Summary**:
**What You’ll Do**:

- Develop and implement the technology strategy by collaborating with senior leaders to define and execute a strategy that supports the organization’s goals and objectives
- Oversee the management and maintenance of the company’s technology infrastructure including private and public cloud environments and associated telecom, network infrastructure and operations
- Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to protect sensitive customer and company data
- Develop and manage the technology budget and ensure cost-effective use of technology resources. Work to continuously improve expense controls, cost savings measures and budget products in conjunction with the executive leadership team
- Manage change and develop risk mitigation and disaster recovery plans
- Oversee the evaluation of technical development aspects of projects and make reasonable compromises between the product development research and flexible engineering solutions and implementations.
- Establish the technology roadmap in conjunction with the product team. Translate future ambitions into ongoing business plans.
- Develop business-relevant metrics to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the program, facilitate appropriate resource allocation and increase the maturity of the security program
- Lead and direct assigned technical staff in providing efficient, secure, and properly maintained programs and/or systems which meet end user requirements
- Oversee the research of new products and development tools, keeping up-to-date on industry trends to incorporate into the Company's platform
- Coach, develop, and mentor subordinates to achieve quality performance while continuing to develop personal management skill necessary to handle unique management challenges
- Oversees direction and approves tactical administrative or operational policies and resource allocation decisions to ensure achievement of objectives.

**Applicant for this job will be expected to meet the following minimum qualifications**:
**Education**
- Degree from an accredited college in computer science, MIS or related field required. Masters/ Advanced degree in the same discipline is preferred
- Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements

**What Experiences You Bring**:

- 10 or more years of increasingly responsible technology leadership experience, preferably in systems engineering, network and telecommunications, and technical support operations
- Minimum 5 years of experience with current IT security technologies required
- Minimum 5 years of experience with information security frameworks and standards (e.g, ISO 17799/27001, PCI, HIPPA, etc.) required
- 5 years supervisory experience required
