As the VP, Marketing and Communications you will have a central role in our continued growth. You will be responsible for all elements of our marketing efforts and initiatives, including developing the marketing plan in support of our strategic objectives, building the messages and content needed to ‘bring the brand alive’ in the minds of all stakeholders, delivering concise market analysis, and supporting our sales team in their work.

The PADM Group of Companies is a diversified advanced engineering and manufacturing conglomerate with a specific focus in Additive Manufacturing, sustainable Non-Woven Biopolymer Textiles, eco-friendly Medical Devices, and encapsulated sensor cable. Leading a team of internal and external creators and experts, the VP, Marketing and Communications is responsible for all elements of our marketing program.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Develop a marketing strategic plan to support the corporate strategic plan and brand;
- Develop a plan to get the stories that make us unique in our market segments in front of our customers and community;
- Develop and deploy a social media strategy that connects the PADM Group to our communities;
- Market analysis capability in support of both new product development and market development activities;
- Support corporate growth by integrating marketing functions and efforts of acquisitions with corporate initiatives;
- Build a team that is passionate about delivering world class work;
- Ensure that internal and external communications and branding efforts are consistent, in harmony and aligned.
- Support and help drive a culture of innovation and excellence;
- Stay informed on legislative and regulatory environment surrounding the PADM Group’s business units;

**Qualifications**:

- 10 years of progressive marketing, communications, and brand strategy experience with 5 years in a leadership role building and leading high performing marketing teams;
- Post Secondary in science, business, or the arts;
- Proven experience and success in brand transitions, consolidations, and acquisition integration activities;
- A clear understanding of all elements of marketing as a business function;
- Strong planning and project management capabilities with experience in developing and managing timelines, schedules, budgets, vendors, and resources across functional areas;
- Strong demonstrated experience in translating brand vision into online channels;
- Demonstrated experience in a role with P&L responsibility;
- Experience in a publicly traded company is an asset;
- Bilingual written/speaking (French), ability to effectively communicate in French an asset;
- Some travel required.
