**Overview**
Victoria Pickleball Centre is a vibrant and community-driven pickleball facility dedicated to promoting health, fitness, and fun through the sport of pickleball. Our facility offers state-of-the-art courts, recreational programs, and community events for players of all levels. We are looking for a dynamic and well-organized Program and Events Coordinator to join our team.

The Program and Events Coordinator will play a key role in planning, organizing, and executing programs, events, and activities at our pickleball facility. This position requires creativity, excellent communication skills, and a passion for community engagement.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement a diverse range of programs and events to meet the interests of our community.
- Coordinate tournament schedules, league play, clinics, and special events.
- Collaborate with staff, volunteers, and partners to ensure smooth event execution.
- Promote programs and events through social media, newsletters, and other marketing channels.
- Manage participant registration, attendance tracking, and event logistics.
- Monitor program effectiveness and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Maintain positive relationships with members, guests, and community partners.
- Ensure facility guidelines are followed during events.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in sales, marketing, customer service, or event coordination is an asset but not required.
- Experience working in an office setting or with small teams is an asset.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for interacting with clients and team members.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
- roficiency in social media marketing and basic event promotion.
- Passion for sports, recreation, and community engagement.
- Experience with pickleball or other racquet sports is an asset.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
