- Our Brantford plant is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our team ASAP The Brantford plant is a manufacturing facility that mainly provides product in our Residential Construction business unit, selling to our renovation centres for home improvement projects.**What's in it for you?**

**The role**:

- Scheduling and coordinating inbound, outbound and intercompany delivery appointments - you will be in constant contact with freight providers ensuring that our manufactured products can make it to the customers
- Processes shipping documents including but not limited to packing slips, bill of lading, customs paperwork, border crossings. Responsible for the preparation and transmission of border crossing paperwork
- Coordinating with our internal Account Managers, Warehouse and Production staff to ensure inventory is available prior to scheduling shipments
- Coordinate with members of the warehouse and production team on priority loads, changes to schedule and loads per day
- Support and back-up Customer Service department, handling customer concerns or delivery issues
- Obtain and negotiate freight quotes from forwarders, dedicated carriers

**We Need Your Skills**

**What we need from you**:

- University diploma or college degree in business, logistics or a related field of study
- SAP and EDI experience an asset
- Good command of MS Office (Excel and Word) with an ability to quickly learn new software
- Must have strong understanding of import / export requirements (CUSMA, USMCA, COO) along with strong computer skills for document creation and tracking
- Strong ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment
- Adaptable, strong communicator, and problem-solving skills a must
