St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre is seeking part-time Resident Care Aides. We offer a competitive salary range between $24.00 - $25.00, 7.5 hour shifts, HOOPP Pension plan and access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Will be opportunity to pick up additional hours.

**Descriptions**

Performs various resident care activities for the personal needs and comforts of the residents: bathing, mouth care, skin care, shampooing, caring for finger and toe nails, prepares and passes nourishment, fresh drinking water, assists residents in toileting procedures, makes beds, keeps utility room and kitchen in proper order, sees that residents’ rooms are clean and tidy, answers call bells promptly, transports patients to and from activities, observing, measuring and recording intake and output, assist residents with Activities of Daily Living, performs housekeeping functions, responsible for residents’ laundry, assists with orientation of new staff and others duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
1. Secondary School Graduation Diploma required.

2. At least one year experience is preferred.

3. Good attendance and disciplinary record.

4. Graduate of the Personal Support Worker program or equivalent course or diploma.

5. Bilingualism is an asset.
