St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre is seeking part-time Resident Care Aides. We offer a competitive salary range between $27.29 - $28.09, 7.5-hour shifts, HOOPP Pension plan, and access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP). There will be an opportunity to pick up additional hours.

**Descriptions**

Performs various resident care activities for the personal needs and comforts of the residents: bathing, mouth care, skin care, shampooing, caring for fingers and toenails, preparing and passing nourishment, fresh drinking water, assisting residents in toileting procedures, making beds, keeps utility room and kitchen in proper order, sees that residents’ rooms are clean and tidy, answers call bells promptly, transports patients to and from activities, observing, measuring and recording intake and output, assist residents with Activities of Daily Living, performs housekeeping functions, responsible for residents’ laundry, helps with orientation of new staff and others duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
1. Secondary School Graduation Diploma required.

2. At least one year experience is preferred.

3. Good attendance and disciplinary record.

4. Graduate of the Personal Support Worker program or equivalent course or diploma.

5. Bilingualism is an asset.

Pay: $27.29-$28.09 per hour

Expected hours: 22.5 - 37.5 per week
