- **Instructor, Life Sciences (Term Full-Time)** Science Laboratory Technology Program -- **POSITION TYPE**: Full-Time, Term Position Available (anticipated January 5, 2026 up to April 30, 2026) -- **SALARY**: $65,109 - $102,091 per annum* **POSITION LOCATION**: Notre Dame Campus (Winnipeg, MB) -- **DUTIES** -- **REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS** - Bachelor of Science degree, preferably majoring in chemistry or biology or a related field Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to use conflict resolution techniques to facilitate positive outcomes Demonstrated leadership skills Strong presentation skills Ability to teach on campus and remotely Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Suite Ability to work independently as well as in small to large group settings Demonstrated ability to operate, maintain and troubleshoot standard laboratory instrumentation Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement - **ASSET QUALIFICATIONS** - Experience developing curriculum and instructing at a post-secondary level Certificate in Teaching for Learning or Adult Education Experience developing and instructing distance-delivered courses including online Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS) to deliver blended (synchronous and asynchronous) instruction Experience conducting applied research, either as part of the curriculum or independent of the curriculum, such as STAR projects PhD or MSc preferably majoring in chemistry or biology or a related field Previous experience in a science or technology-based industry - **CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT** - Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends This position may be required to work throughout the academic year including the summer months Instructors are required to complete the Teaching for Learning (TFL) in Applied Education program or have previously completed the Certificate in Adult Education (CAE) May be required to work at various RRC Polytech campuses "RRC Polytech campuses are located on the lands of the Anishinaabeg, Ininiwak, Anishininwak, Dakota Oyate, and Denésuline, and the National Homeland of the Red River Métis. - We recognize and honour Treaty 3 Territory Shoal Lake 40 First Nation, the source of Winnipeg’s clean drinking water.
