**Instructor, Medical Radiologic Technology (Part-time Regular)** -Allied Health Sciences, School of Health Sciences and Community Services - **POSITION TYPE**: Part-Time Position Available - **SALARY**: $33.62 - $51.43 hourly **POSITION LOCATION**: Notre Dame Campus (Winnipeg, MB) - **DUTIES** Reporting to the Chair, Diagnostic Imaging Programs, Red River College Polytechnic is looking for an Instructor for the Medical Radiologic Technology Program, Department of Allied Health Sciences at the School of Health Sciences and Community Services. Responsibilities include classroom and lab instruction, supervision and guidance of students, student evaluation, advising of students, maintenance of student records and other professional duties related to instruction. The incumbent is also required to participate in department and College committees and assist in student orientation and graduation activities. - **REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS** - Diploma in Medical Radiologic Technology - Active registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists - Several years experience working as a Medical Radiological Technologist - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to use conflict resolution techniques to facilitate positive outcomes - Demonstrated leadership skills - Strong presentation skills - Ability to teach on campus and remotely - Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Suite - Ability to work independently as well as in small to large group settings - Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement **ASSET QUALIFICATIONS** - Experience developing curriculum and instructing at a post-secondary level - Certificate in Teaching for Learning or Adult Education - Experience developing and instructing distance-delivered courses including online - Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS) to deliver blended (synchronous and asynchronous) instruction **CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT** - Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada - This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends - This position may be required to work throughout the academic year including the summer months - Instructors are required to complete the Teaching for Learning (TFL) in Applied Education program or have previously completed the Certificate in Adult Education (CAE) "RRC Polytech campuses are located on the lands of the Anishinaabeg, Ininiwak, Anishininwak, Dakota Oyate, and Denésuline, and the National Homeland of the Red River Métis.
