**Job description**

World Wise Distribution is hiring a motivated and organized Assistant Shipper/Receiver and Delivery Driver. As a fast-growing organization, we are dedicated to delivering high-quality products while fostering an inclusive and collaborative working environment.

**Duties**:

- Operate forklift and pallet jacks in a safe manner
- Receive product, report deviations, and accurately complete relevant paperwork
- Pick orders accurately and complete relevant paperwork
- Data entry - prepare shipping and receiving documents and reports
- Load and unload trailers and trucks in a safe manner
- Complete inventory counts
- Notify Supervisor/Manager of any product quality issues
- Keep area clean, tidy and organized
- Perform daily inspection and report all mechanical concerns immediately to Supervisor/Manager
- Communicate and co-operate with staff, customers, and suppliers
- Adhere to Company policies, rules and regulations
- Strive to achieve the company’s mission and goals
- Deliveries as needed with sprinter van
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Previous forklifts experience (must be able to obtain Safe Lift Truck Operator License)
- Handle/lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Grade 12 and related work experience
- Physically fit to perform required tasks
- Basic computer skills
- Class 5 Drivers License
- Must be bondable

**Working Conditions and Position Specifics**:

- Must be physically fit to perform tasks required
- Must be able to handle weights up to 50 lbs
- Must have ability to work at various heights
- Ability to work with loud noises
- Tolerance for cool temperatures

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $15.30-$21.44 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
