**About the role**:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented **Shipper / Receiver **to join our team at ourWinnipeg location. If you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working in a dynamic retail environment, this role is for you. This position demands energy, drive, a self-starter, organized and enthusiastic personality. The Shipper/Receiver plays a crucial role in ensuring that our store operates smoothly.

**Responsibilities**:

- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or invoices.
- Unload and unpack shipments, labelling them appropriately.
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring they are accurate and secure.
- Work alongside the Shipping/Receiving department manager and assist with shipping and receiving of orders and supplies.
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Conduct regular inventory counts or audits.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse team, and other team members involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
- Keep accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments. Update inventory systems and conduct regular stock checks.
- Organize and maintain the stockroom and shipping areas.
- Ensure all areas are clean, safe and accessible at all times.
- Strong time management skills, working with a sense of urgency.
- Assist in other areas of the store as needed, including customer service and merchandising.
- Provide excellent customer service to in store, online and over the phone customers.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work independently and within a team.
- Has excellent work ethic to complete tasks in a timely manner.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or inventory management preferred.
- A friendly, upbeat, and outgoing personality.
- Enjoys working as part of a team.
- A competitive, self-starter with excellent communication skills.
- Drive for continuous improvement in store performance and optimizing the back-end operations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods of time.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Knowledge and passion for action sports and performance lifestyles an asset.
