Computershare’s Canadian Middle Office - Treasury Desk - Account Administrator role is the department within Computershare responsible for the receipt and processing of Treasury directions received from Issuer clients. Treasury directions include Stock Option, Issuance (Small and Large) Restricted Share, Closings, Secondary Offerings, Share vesting’s. Providing review of instructions to determine if received in good order and the processing of transactions on the Transfer Agent processing system.

The role operates within our local offices across Canada and must deliver within strict client service delivery guidelines. The guidelines include successful delivery within agreed timeframes and quality standards. The incumbent is also expected to work collaboratively across teams within the same department, supporting continuous improvement and project related activity related to the role.

You are responsible for the day-to-day delivery of high-quality customer service to clients and their investors (shareholders/bondholders) ensuring the day-to-day processing, quality assurance review and resolution of transactions (Stock Option, Issuance (Small and Large) Restricted Share, Closings, Secondary Offerings, Share vesting’s) within the workflow queues are actioned accurately and on time.

You will work closely with their peers, Team Leads and all relevant internal stakeholders to ensure all client activity is reviewed and actioned to meet deadlines and service level standards. Lastly you will support the escalation of transaction by Client Services and troubleshoot inquires received regarding transaction processing.

**Some of your key responsibilities will include**:

- Responsible for review and processing of the client requirements and documenting procedures.
- Responsible to ensure required documents are received and properly executed for closings, IPOs, secondary offerings, share vesting’s and complex client transactions.
- Responsible for processing large issuance requests and work with the relationship teams on troubleshooting file rejects and balancing of capital. Process and/or review general, sensitive, and complex data entry transactions for various transaction types within established productivity and quality standards.
- Assists clients, brokers and RMs with special projects, expediting transactions, troubleshooting, problem solving, and servicing of all client requests.
- Responds to escalated complex inquires as needed per documented procedures.
- Complete required internal training and compliance classes timely.
- Required to work overtime and assist on other functions or departments during peak volumes to assist in meeting our clients service level agreements.
- May be asked to work on additional projects as needed.
- Other duties or tasks as assigned by management.

**What will you bring to the role?**

**Essential**
- Must be able to read material requiring understanding of content in items such as instructions, procedure manuals, estate documents, trust indentures, affidavits, letter of transmittals and correspondence.
- Must be able to write or modify text to accurately communicate to others using precise language to avoid misunderstanding of complex information.
- Must be able to verbally communicate sometime in advanced levels of information with considerable need for explanation or description. It is important that this explanation or description be precise to avoid misunderstanding of complex information.
- Must be able to use basic arithmetic, established arithmetic formulas or procedures to calculate or prepare information.

**Desirable**
- Securities processing related experience
- Canadian Securities Course would be beneficial.
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Word and/or Excel preferred.
