**Position Details**:

- _ Lead the team with setting and executing key performance indicators - monitor targets regularly and ensure ongoing communication on team and individual progress against the targets_
- _ Ensure that the team is aware and understands Corporate Strategy and Team goals are aligned _
- _Delegate activities, responsibilities, and authority necessary and desirable to associates_
- _ Responsible with the hiring and performance management of direct reports_
- _ Recommend changes within the department as required by the development and growth of the business unit._
- _ Represents and supports the corporate vision and priorities ensuring associate awareness and understanding of the corporate direction._
- _ Advocate externally with brokers to ensure objectives, policies, procedures are being met._
- _ Oversee annual Business Development Broker Service Internal Audit Function_
- _ Establish and foster effective communication with the various functional areas of CAA Insurance_
- _ Participate in Industry or CAA association functions, as necessary_
- _ Participate and represent Business Development within the organization/execution of all Broker Conferences_
- _ Identify, recommend, and implement new processes and or procedures to _ensure the department processes are streamlined and optimizing efficiencies_
