**Position Overview**:
**Job Duties**:

- Sell Auto & Home Insurance Products
- Writing New Policies & Cross/ up-selling Current Business
- Develop and implement a business plan for generating new sales (incl. strategies for lead generation such as active prospecting & networking etc.)
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent customer service and proactive and effective communication
- Answers inquiries and provides accurate information about insurance products.
- Handle inbound & outbound calls with clients & insurance companies.
- Actively develop an increased knowledge of related insurance products and client needs.
- Understanding of policy contract wording & interpretation.
- Responds to information requests and follows established protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- License: Must have General Insurance Level 1
- Advanced skills in Microsoft, Outlook, Word, Excel

**Experience**:

- Minimum 1 Year experience in General Insurance as a licensed agent is required.
- Prior sales experience in any other field will be an asset

**Education**:

- Post secondary Education (required)
- Bachelor’s Degree (Desirable)
