**Position Overview**

Intelex has a global presence with a diverse base of clients around the world, and this is an exciting opportunity drive the success of Intelex’s product adoption in our client base. The Training Specialist is responsible for developing and facilitating technical software training to clients online and onsite. Providing education to clients on the best practices of administration and use of each Intelex solution. The Training Specialist works alongside Technical Consultants and Project Managers to understand and interpret software configurations into technical documentation and training materials, and to complete training and material development to adhere to client project timelines. We are looking for someone who is driven to succeed, and can develop strong relationships with our users and administrators.

**Responsibilities and Deliverables**

**Training Delivery**
- Works with Intelex Customers to best understand their level of understanding of the Intelex Application prior to delivering training, thus determining the appropriate channels for training delivery
- Delivers customized training documentation on Intelex/Customer Application Specific training and standard Platform out of the box training
- Responsible for researching, developing, preparing and facilitating onsite and online training.
- Adapts product capabilities to meet specific client business needs where necessary.
- Travel to client locations within Canada, the U.S and occasional international travel required. Expected travel - 20 - 30%
- Responsible for achieving a weekly utilization target that is balanced with Customer work and internal initiatives
- Prior experience working in an environment where time management and tracking is required. Ability to ensure timely submission of time and expense reports.

**Training Material**
- Applies instructional development, and adult learning principles to develop training material and facilitation
- Creates and maintains courseware material and maintains an updated inventory of training material in Sharepoint.
- Prepares client training sites and databases for training courses by ensuring that the site is populated with test data or test users
- Maintains program content with periodic updates and revisions to ensure materials are current and continue to deliver desired results.
- An understanding of relational database management systems is an asset

**Qualifications**

**Skills & Work Traits**
- Demonstrated software/technology passion and aptitude is considered an asset
- A solid understanding of adult learning principles, potential roadblocks to learning, instructional development and associated solutions
- Ability to understand and adapt to various audiences within the Organization (diverse individuals, groups, and levels of expertise)
- Logical problem-solving approach, ability to clearly communicate business problems and proposed solutions to the client
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate in front of groups of various sizes
- Experience building internal and external relationships and mitigating past difficult personalities or situations.
- Self-motivated to develop and maintain skill-set and product knowledge.
- Professional self-starter, strong attention to detail, able to work independently
- Collaborative across departments and industries
- Understanding of Environmental, Health, Safety or Quality considered an asset.

**Technical Competencies**
- Expert-level skills in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint
- Previous experience using Salesforce is an asset
- Familiar with training development and delivery technologies for eLearning similar to Camtasia, or Articulate Storyline.
- Experienced in adapting technical documentation into instructional training material.

**Experience**
- Minimum 2 - 5 years of experience delivering training material to individuals and groups.
- Software Training experience is an asset.

**Education**
- Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Education, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent Experience
