**Corporate Services Coordinator**
**Location**: Métis Nation of Alberta Head Office, Edmonton, AB
**Position Status**: Full time (40 hrs per week)

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining policies and procedures, and supporting documentation, such as employee floor maps and equipment related policies/procedures.
- Coordinate equipment and assets including monitoring inventory levels, placing/tracking equipment orders, maintaining storage facilities, and arranging for servicing of equipment.
- Manage logs and records for repaired and recycled equipment.
- Implement and control the Asset Management Software with little to no direction from management.
- Communicate with vendors and staff on equipment and workspace related needs.
- Set up office/workspace allocations for new and moving staff, including onboarding and offboarding of staff.
- Assist in planning, organizing, coordinating, and implementing various operational programs related to office furniture and equipment needs. This could include provincial/departmental programs and events, as needed.
- Facilitate communication and coordinate with department managers, IT providers, external project managers, and office equipment vendors regarding equipment, furniture, and supplies as needed.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and act as the main point of contact with Guidepost, TELUS, Digitex, The Source, and other vendors as required.
- Collaborate with the CS Technician(s) and Project Assistant(s) on various projects assigned by the CS manager including project and office planning.
- Other duties as required or assigned.
**Qualifications**
- Two years of experience in administration, logistics management, IT, or a similar role with asset management experience.
- Experience working with systems and using a system-based approach.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
- Excellent customer service skills, and the ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
- Ability to work both independently and with a team, and to make sound decisions independently.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and prioritize changing requests/project requirements, multi-task, and meet tight deadlines on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and an ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Proficient writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Demonstrated ability to deal with confidential information.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong accuracy in completing data entry.
- Ability to perform mobile/physical work including lifting and handling equipment.
- Knowledge of Métis history, culture, and people is an asset.
**Other Requirements**
- Position is based out of the Provincial Office in Edmonton, Alberta.
- Ability to work office hours of Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends, as required.
- Travel within Alberta is required, on occasion.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid class 5 drivers’ license.
- This role will require moving equipment and setting up office spaces, including lifting and moving large items. The CS Coordinator must be able to lift/move items up to 40-50 lbs.
