Quality Control Inspector

Company deals with Metal fabrication Welding / Grinding /Polishing/Manufacturing

Duties
- Inspecting and testing incoming materials and products to ensure they meet specifications
- Recording inspection results
- Communicate with the production team to ensure orders are shipped on time
- Visually examine welds
- Flag non conforming product and coordinate rework
- Maintain inspection log and daily tracking sheets
- Understand priority sequencing for testing, and work under the Plant Supervisor
- Working with welders when defects are found
- Evaluating defects in materials and report accordingly
- Notify managers about quality issues

**Requirements**:

- Must have experience as Quality assurance 1yr to 2yrs.
- Able to understand mechanical drawings is a must
- Great attention to detail and noticing small differences is a must
- Great Mechanical amplitude and able to use inspection tools (i.e. caliper) is a must
- Basic computer skills is a must
- Ability to communicate in written and verbal English
- Able to work in a fast paced and time-sensitive environment
- Knowledge of fasteners and hardware is a plus
- Knowledge of electronics/circuit is a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Concord, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
