**POSITION**: Aerospace Manufacturing Quality Inspector
**WAGE**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Join our team as an Aerospace Manufacturing Quality Technician You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of our machined and assembled parts.
**Your responsibilities**:
- **Inspect Parts**:Conduct detailed inspections of completed parts and random samples using various measuring tools.
- **Report Findings**:Communicate inspection results and discrepancies to supervisors and team members.
- **Verify Accuracy**:Check part measurements, part numbers, and tooling calibration using calipers, micrometers, and CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines).
- **Ensure Compliance**:Maintain adherence to ISO standards.
- **Document Quality**:Prepare quality reports and recommend corrective actions.
- **Calibrate Equipment**:Regularly calibrate and inspect production test equipment.
**What We're Looking For**:
- **Experience**: 3-5 years in quality inspection, preferably in the aerospace industry.
- **Education**: Diploma or certification in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or a related field.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficient with calipers, micrometers, CMMs, and blueprint reading.
- **GD&T Knowledge**: Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) is an asset.
- **Quality Standards**: Knowledge of ISO standards is beneficial.
- **Organizational Skills**: Excellent organization and problem-solving abilities.
- **Communication Skills**: Strong verbal and written communication.
- **Team Player**: Positive attitude, initiative, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
