We are currently seeking an **Accounts Payable Clerk **to join the team in our **Richmond Hill **location. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for the full circle of the accounts payable functions in a fast-paced environment.

**This is an office based role and does not have the option to Work from Home.**

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Perform three-way match for purchase orders, goods received and vendor invoices.
- Entry of approved invoices in NAV (accounting system).
- Reconciling vendor statements, maintaining vendor accounts and follow-up with invoice discrepancies.
- Generates payments to vendors by following established procedures for processing disbursements.
- Provides accruals regarding outstanding invoices for month end.
- Reconciling and recording of monthly visa statements.
- Record Foreign Exchange
- Participate in periodic inventory count
- Performs related clerical duties including filing paid invoices, back up invoices, setting up files and preparing boxes for storage.
- Responsible for insurance and registration for all company vehicles.
- Responsible for ordering cellphones and setting up new users.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Post-secondary education in Accounting or related discipline
- At least 1 year of work experience in an accounts payable function, preferably in a fast paced environment
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills and ability to function as part of a team
- Bilingual in French is considered an asset.
- Sound computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Experience with Microsoft Navision would be an asset
- Demonstrates good judgment and discretion in handling confidential information
- Strong organizational skills with focus on accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines all the while being detail-oriented
- Ability to multitask and complete work with a high degree of accuracy, judgment and integrity
