MOBIA is currently looking for a Field Technician to join our team in the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario and South-Western Ontario.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, test, commission & troubleshoot wireless network systems (5G, WTTP, LMRN, etc)
- Read and understand technical documents, and/or equipment installation manual; plan and complete jobs in accordance with these guidelines
- Implement planned designs for network changes onsite at customer locations in keeping with any environmental policies and best practices
- Following customer provided installation standards
- Frequent travel, typically within GTA and South-Western Ontario

**Skills/Qualifications**:

- Must have a full and valid Canadian Driver's license for a minimum of 3 years
- 5+ years in wireless a telecommunications technician role
- Previous mobility installation experience is an asset
- 4G/LTE, 5G, WTTP, TMR/LMRN and DC power installation & commissioning experience is an asset
- Good knowledge of AC/DC theory
- Knowledge of cat 5/5E/6 cables and COAX cabling installation, termination and testing
- Knowledge of Telco standards
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Clean drivers abstract
- Overall knowledge of networking architectures
- High aptitude for troubleshooting and working under pressure
- Ability to explain technical concepts and theories to a non-technical audience
- Solid written and verbal communication
