**Job Purpose**: Performs preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal efficiency and safety of facilities operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly facility preventative maintenance.
- Perform general corrective maintenance on plumbing, lighting replacement, HVAC troubleshooting/monitoring/filters replacement, laboratories heating/cooling loops, ceiling tiles, door hardware/closes/stoppers/handles, general painting, cleaning, emergency snow removal, pipe cleaning and housekeeping.
- General facility repairs/upkeep
- General lab generated work orders
- Lab compressed air cylinder replacements
- Glassware cleaning dish washer resin changes
- Water supply to building (resin tanks/salt reservoirs)
- Snow removal from premises/salting
- Assist with draining sanitary and storm sewers
- Coordinate facility related contractors (HVAC/Water treatment/snow/grass)
- Working on upgrade facility lighting to LED
- Maintain stock levels of all facility related inventory
- Water filters cleaning/replacement
- Complete Monthly/Annual Emergency Lighting inspection/test/PM.
- Complete Quarterly Fumehood PM & coordinate annual HEPA testing
- Complete Lab equipment daily checks (Water treatment)
- Complete Semi-Annual water filter PM
- Complete Semi-Annual R&D vacuum pumps
- Coordinate backflow preventor annual inspections
- Complete Monthly fire alarm PM & coordinate annual inspection
- Coordinate annual Kilo Lab boiler and Chiller inspections
- Complete Quarterly Kilo Lab pump PM
- Complete Monthly Plant Drains PM
- Complete D087 Process Systems testing PM (Water treatment/analysis)
- Replace AHU-1/2 Pre/Final filters
- Complete monthly HVAC Filter Replacement PM
- Complete monthly sprinkler system PM
- Coordinate monthly backup generator PM
- Actively train on SOP’s, Technical Manuals and safety procedures as required
- Maintain cleanliness and order of work area to ensure cGMP and safety compliance
- Understanding of equipment, location, and site layout
- Complete documentation such as maintenance logs, manuals, and inventory control records as per cGMP guidelines
- Collaborate with, and contribute to the Maintenance group

**EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL ATTAINMENT**:

- High school diploma or equivalent

**WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- 1-2 years’ experience in a construction/maintenance role, preferably within GMP environment facility operating under high quality and safety standards.

**SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**:

- Strong plumbing, painting ceiling tiles skills and aptitude
- Ability to understand blueprints
- Working knowledge of HVAC, condensers, pumps, refrigeration, and compressor systems
- Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance concept
