Field Project Lead Technician

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Project Leadership**
- Lead field installation projects from start to finish, coordinating with clients, office staff, and subcontractors
- Provide project plan, directions for installation and mentorship to junior technicians on-site.
- Ensure projects are completed according to scope, specifications, and deadlines.
- Conduct site walk-throughs, identify challenges, and develop solutions in real time.
- Review new project proposals, and develop execution plans
- Must be able to read Fire Plan and Electrical drawings.

**Update Project progress**

**Project Coordination**
- Responsible for coordinating with Office to do a site visit in advance and confirm the budget (Labour & Material) for all job
- Responsible for coordinating the team’s daily and weekly schedules, ensuring that all project milestones are met on time with the project co-ordinator.

**Project Monitoring and Reporting**
- Monitor the project’s progress, ensuring that all technical tasks are completed on schedule. This includes updating timelines, reporting potential delays, and proposing solutions to keep the project on track in the weekly meeting.

**Team management**
- As the lead for their team, responsible to assess workflow, tools, and processes, identifying areas where efficiency can be improved. Propose process improvements to supervisors or project managers.
- Evaluate the performance of their team members, providing constructive feedback and suggesting training or improvements where necessary.
- After project completion, participates in post-project reviews, providing input on what went well and what could be improved in future projects.

**Training**
- Deliver end-user training sessions for clients.
- Create user-friendly manuals and training materials.

**Requirements and Qualifications**:

- 5+ years experience in Access Control/Security System Installations (e.g. Keyscan, Kantech, RBH, Protoge,Hikvision, Aiphone)
- Valid Driver's License with clean abstract.
- Networking and low voltage electronic experience (Strong networking skills an asset)
- Demonstrate strong work ethic, leadership skills, ability to train, ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints
- Ability to work at heights and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to pull cable and conduit as required.
- Proficiency with power tools and hand tools.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment on-site
- Comfortable working in various environments (including outdoor sites and parking garages).

**Nice to Have**:

- Experience with telephone entry systems, door operators, elevators, alarm systems, IT, and video surveillance.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
