As Canada’s largest mental health care provider, the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health provides evidence to drive system and policy change through the implementation of innovations and novel service delivery interventions. The Research Operations, Services and Support (ROSS) Office is a central group within CAMH Research that provides administrative support to ensure that all research activities carried out at CAMH or CAMH personnel comply with funder, government, and institutional policies and regulations.

**Position Description**
- Provide operational and administrative support to 4 ROSS directors
- Support for onboarding of ROSS personnel and if applicable research staff and scientists
- Respond to internal/external inquiries, schedule and coordinate appointments and meetings and take minutes
- Support general administration and coordination of ROSS workflows and research institute initiatives and events
- Assist with special projects directed by ROSS administrative directors
- Other duties include organize and maintain filing systems, database entry and management, general ROSS communications and office management and any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

This position is primarily located at 250 College Street with occasional travel to 1001 Queen Street West.

**Job Requirements**
- Post-Secondary Certificate, Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Office Administration or a related discipline
- 3 years of secretarial/administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in the healthcare or academic sector is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills demonstrated by experience drafting formal letters or mass communications
- Excellent customer service skills
- Advanced knowledge of MS Software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Exemplary attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills, tact, and discretion and a genuine interest in supporting scientific research
- Experience with working in an academic or healthcare environment is an asset
- Ability to quickly find, learn and assimilate new information
- Ability to prioritize and handle a high volume of diverse projects simultaneously
- Ability to capture and articulate risk issues
- Ability to communicate and problem-solve with a diverse variety of stakeholders and team members who may have conflicting interests and priorities
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner

**Please Note**:This full-time, permanent position is NOT part of a bargaining unit
