We are looking for a **Quality Assurance Tester** for a **12-month contract** position in **Regina, Saskatchewan**. **Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.** **On-site, Hybrid, and remote work available. 8 hours a day, 40 days per week.** **Role Description** **Responsibilities** - Create and execute test strategies, test calendars, test coverage, test cases and test data - Document and maintain test cases within testing software - Create and maintain requirements to test case traceability matrices - Create work breakdown structures and estimates - Participate on walkthroughs of testing procedures and execute testing as per the defined procedures - Triage, document and present defects to development team - Liaise between end user and BA< Development teams on defects and missed requirements - Participate in peer reviews, sprint planning, stand-ups and retrospectives - Prepare all reports related to software testing carried out - Prepare and provide demonstrations and knowledge transfer to internal or external stakeholders **Required Skills and Experience** - **Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or an equivalent field**: - **Minimum 5-8 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Specialist**: - **Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects or one large complex project, overseeing project requirements, Planning, Estimation, Coverage, Execution, Monitoring, Triage and Reporting**: - **Previous experience and thorough knowledge in Agile and Agile/Hybrid methodology**: - **Project Management Institute (PMI) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred**: - Minimum 2 years of experience leading a small Test Team is preferred - Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT or Telecom is preferred - Experience with AI tools for testing is considered an asset *** **InSync Systems Inc.** is a privately-owned boutique Canadian Resourcing and Consulting Services Company that works closely with a range of corporate clients across multiple industries to bring them solutions that effectively address their business needs.
