We are looking for a
Quality Assurance Analyst
for a
12-month contract position
with possible extensions in
Regina, Saskatchewan. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

This role is 100% on-site. 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week. This is NOT a remote role.

Role Description

This role will support quality assurance activities across the full software development life cycle, including analysis, design, testing, and release planning. The QA Analyst will design and execute test cases and test plans, manage defects, and coordinate test environments and data. The role involves leading QA reviews, supporting User Acceptance Testing, and ensuring solutions align with business requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in all phases of software development life cycle, including analysis, design, implementation, testing, and planning.
  • Architect, design, write, and execute test cases and test plans to support the quality assurance activates throughout the software development life cycle.
  • Coordinate setup of test environments and test data management.
  • Manage defect tracking and defect maintenance.
  • Lead QA reviews with business and IT stakeholders.
  • Assist the business with planning, coordination, execution and defect resolution during the User Acceptance.
  • Ensure test cases reflect scope of business requirements and development being delivered.
  • Perform quality assurance of web-based applications.
  • Document testing cases, results and issues.
  • Experience establishing and/or operating automated testing.
  • Familiar with Agile development methodology.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an IT Software Quality Assurance Analyst.
  • Proven experience with end-to-end functional testing of web applications integration.
  • Demonstrated experience with all forms of software Quality Assurance testing including System, Integration, Regression, Performance, and User Acceptance Testing.
  • Experience with Defect Management tools.
  • Experience with automation.
  • Experience with cross-browser compatibility testing of web applications
  • Experience with unit testing and test-driven development within an Agile development team.
  • Experience with cross-device compatibility testing of web applications within mobile/tablet devices is a plus.
