**JOB SUMMARY**:
The Foreign Exchange Treasury Specialist develops, implements, and maintains the currency management strategy by proactively identify the impact of currency (or exchange rate) risks and exposure for Livingston International. The role is an individual contributor and will be responsible to work with all lines of business to establish and implement an exchange rate for the customer which secures Livingston’s profitability; develops, recommends and implements foreign exchange policies and procedures; supports the company initiatives to expand foreign exchange (FX) products and services and strategic plans; and researches, identifies and analyzes the impact of foreign exchange on business unit(s).

**KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Research, analyze and interpret Canadian & US market values to determine the financial impact on business strategies.
- Prepare and review reports. Provide in-depth analysis and statistics of currency trends.
- Present various foreign exchange client analysis and provide recommendations to assist business leaders in the decision-making process on currency conversion and client pricing strategies.
- Research, collect and document current foreign exchange policies and procedures for various business groups.
- Analyze current procedures and establish and documents new procedures for improvement/increased FX margins.
- Partner with Client Onboarding and Sales on client payment preferences.
- Set department budgets, provide product variance analysis and reporting.
- Work with IT to ensure new or existing operating systems relating to foreign exchange rates adheres to company policies. Determine currency allowances to place on the operating system(s) and conducts audits on the operating system for currency rate accuracy.
- Respond to incoming client inquiries regarding currency exchange rates with tactfulness to protect company profit margins and maintain client satisfaction by adjusting payment terms.
- Monitor the changes of client’s currency payment option. Contact clients and determines the reason of opting to change currency payment.
- Keep abreast on financial markets, economic forecasts and market commentaries.
- Lead and/or participates in projects, as assigned.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
- Adhere to established policies and procedures.

**KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS**:

- Working knowledge of financial markets and foreign exchange processes
- Strong understanding and experience performing financial, forecasting, budgeting, and operational analysis
- Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in designing and developing financial models
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and audit standards
- Ability to communicate with all levels of employees including Executive team members
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS Excel & Word; and accounting systems i.e. CODA

**WORK EXPERIENCE - MINIMUM REQUIRED**:
