**Wage**:
$50,000 - 55,000 Annual Salary

9:00am - 6:00pm (hours may vary to meet program needs)

PG Family Y (2020 Massey Drive)

**About the Program**:
The YMCA is the largest not-for-profit provider of child care in Canada and the YMCA of Northern BC is the largest provider in the north, serving: Chetwynd, Fort St. James, Fort St. John, Prince George, Dawson Creek and Vanderhoof. YMCA Child Care is a home away from home.

**Responsibilities of this role**:

- Building relationships and providing exceptional customer service in a timely fashion
- Ensures that all programs are operating in compliance with the Child Care Licensing Regulations and YMCA Child Protection Policies
- Work with their team to deliver high quality and age-appropriate programs based on the YMCA Place to Connect curriculum
- Maintain confidentiality of information related to the centre, children, families, and staff
- Developing and distributing required documentation to necessary parties
- Working collaboratively with the rest of the Child Care Leadership team
- Engages and builds a team dedicated to excellence

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma in Early Care and Learning, Social Work or a related field or combination of education and experience relating to children, youth or vulnerable adults
- Experience in child care or youth programs an asset
- Experience in the development and leadership of an effective, engaged team
- Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
- Satisfactory Criminal Record and Clear Vulnerable Sector Search
- Three satisfactory professional references
- Immunization record including TB screening or willingness to obtain
- Current Child Care First Aid & CPR-C Certification or willingness to obtain

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$550,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Leadership: 1 year (preferred)
- child care or youth programs: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver's License (required)
