Genuwine Cellars is currently seeking a Shipping/Receiving Specialist to join our team in Winnipeg, MB. The Shipping/Receiving Specialist will be responsible for managing all aspects of our warehouse operations, from handling incoming shipments to conducting inventory counts. This position requires excellent organizational skills, strong mathematical ability, and a keen eye for detail.

**About Genuwine Cellars**

**PRIMARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Conduct thorough inspections of all incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality, documenting and maintaining records.
- Maintain open and effective communication with sales staff regarding service and delivery matters.
- Ability to manage inventory accurately, including tracking stock levels, performing regular counts, and updating inventory data in management systems.
- Determine method of shipment and prepare bills, invoices, and other shipping documents (including US/Canada customs).
- Ability to manage time effectively to ensure all orders are received, processed, and shipped within scheduled timelines.
- The role may require lifting, moving, and handling of goods, must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations, packaging requirements, and customs documentation is considered an asset.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND KEY COMPETENCIES**
- Strong math skills for managing inventory levels, calculating shipment costs, and adjusting inventory records.
- Excellent communication abilities to maintain effective coordination with sales staff, suppliers, and logistics partners regarding service and delivery.
- Previous experience in a shipping/receiving role within E-Commerce is a must.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and work demands, especially during peak seasons or in response to specific project needs.
- Demonstrated experience with shipping software or platforms, or the ability to quickly learn and implement software to streamline shipping processes, enhance efficiency, and ensure accuracy in order tracking and delivery.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**
- Standard 40-hour work week (Monday to Friday)
- Willing to work overtime when required
- A valid driver's license is required
- Requires lifting, moving, and handling of goods up to 50 lbs
