**Job Overview**

**Duties**:

- Manage freight operations, including dispatching and transportation management to ensure efficient delivery schedules.
- Collaborate with production planning teams to align logistics with production schedules.
- Must be able to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Implement best practices in materials management to enhance operational efficiency.
- Analyze pricing structures and negotiate rates with carriers to optimize costs.
- Oversee the end-to-end order processing workflow, ensuring all orders are accurately managed and dispatched on schedule.
- Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Communicate regularly with customers, providing updates on order status, shipment tracking, and addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to enhance collaboration and improve service delivery.
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in logistics coordination or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain principles and practices.
- Experience in freight management, dispatching, and transportation management.
- Forklift license is a plus.
- **Must be able to lift heavy loads as required.**:

- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with suppliers, team members, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Strong understanding of logistics processes, including order management, shipping, and inventory control.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and team members.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
