Primary Role of This Position
In this role the Accounts Receivable (A/R) Representative will assist our Accounts Receivable department with collections from customers in a timely and efficient manner and will perform other department duties.

Major Responsibilities
+ Process drop shipment invoices and credit notes
+ Process manual invoices and credit notes
+ Release of Return Authorization and scanning the backup documentation
+ Prepare weekly statements and monthly reports
+ Assist with auditors request
+ Assist with collections of outstanding accounts and responding to customer inquiries
+ Reconcile customer accounts, resolving any discrepancies or issues
+ Process incoming payments of Wires and EFTs and allocation as a backup
+ Perform regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
+ Other duties as required

Education and Experience
+ A college diploma would be preferred
+ Must have 2+ years of collection experience in a high-volume A/R department

**Qualifications**:
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Strong desire to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
+ Knowledge of AS 400 an asset
+ Intermediate Microsoft Office, Excel and Word
+ Must take initiative in their approach in dealing with customers
+ Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
