**Hours of Work**: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Advise and consult on a diverse range of human resource services (as noted above) in a highly responsible and confidential manner
- Build strong relationships and networks across the firm
- Maintain knowledge of current best practices and trends in human resources, including relevant legislation
- Create, implement, and/or maintain company procedures, HR initiatives, and company policies
- Provide coaching and counseling on routine employee and organizational issues or conflicts to employees and management
- Maintain accurate company directories and complete employee records through our online HR platform
- Promote a positive work environment through daily interactions with employees and management and through the administration of employee activities and programs
- Coordinate regular events to promote employee engagement and participation
- Coordinate on-boarding and off-boarding process, include scheduling, communication, and required equipment (laptops, phones, etc.)
- Other duties as required and assigned

Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Human Resources generalist role
- University Degree in Human Resources or related field
- CHRP/CHRL designation an asset
- Excellent interpersonal and well-developed communication skills (written and verbal)
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and address complex employee issues and exercise sound judgment in providing advice and guidance while maintaining confidentiality
- Extensive knowledge and broad experience in all areas of human resources best practices, policies and legislative requirements
- Superior planning and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to operate as a team player with mínimal supervision; self-directed and self-motivated
- Proven ability to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of an organization
