This position is offered as a 6-month contract.

Here's how a Networking Specialist for our Edmonton NAHQ office contributes to our team:
**Responsibilities**:

- Strong experience with FortiManager, including complex zero-touch provisioning templates.
- Skilled in deploying and managing FortiGate SD-WAN, including policies and troubleshooting.
- Familiar with BGP redistribution, route maps, and prioritization.
- Advanced network troubleshooting and experience with ticketing systems.
- Proficient in writing and maintaining network documentation.
- Experienced in building manual IPsec VPNs with third-party connections.
- Knowledgeable in small-scale project management practices.
- Administer and optimize Aruba Central, including policy and template management, and the deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle support of wireless access points and switches.
- Able to support secure and scalable network deployments.

**Qualifications**:

- Postsecondary education in network technology or a related field; networking certifications preferred.
- 6+ years of progressive experience in a similar capacity.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Logical and analytical thinking with effective idea expression.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; able to prioritize and delegate.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to solve complex problems.
- Solid understanding of business operations and their impact on technology.
- Advanced expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting networking solutions.
- Deep knowledge of networking technologies including switching, routing, wireless, firewall, VOIP, SD-WAN, and Zero Trust.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to emerging technologies.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to build business cases and deliver presentations.
