OT Network Cybersecurity Specialist

We provide services in the field of industrial technology including Electrical & Instrumentation, Industrial Ethernet, Cyber-security, Automation Integration, and Data Visualization & Analytics, in addition to backing each department with a strong field maintenance support team.About the RoleWe’re looking for an OT Network Cybersecurity Specialist with strong networking experience in power utilities or industrial environments and a solid understanding of control systems (SCADA/DCS/PLC). You’ll design, secure, and support OT networks, lead segmentation and secure remote access initiatives, and deploy OT cyber monitoring platforms (e.g., Nozomi). This role partners closely with OT operations, engineering, and IT security to enhance resilience and meet cybersecurity standards for critical infrastructure.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement secure OT network architectures (zones/conduits, DMZ, segmentation, firewalls, VLANs, ACLs, IDS/IPS).Develop and maintain secure remote access and hardened VPN solutions for vendors and field teams.Maintain asset inventories and network diagrams for OT environments.Deploy and operate OT visibility/monitoring platforms (e.g., Nozomi Networks), tune detections, and triage alerts.Collaborate on incident response for OT environments—containment, eradication, and recovery playbooks.Implement and enforce secure configuration baselines for switches, firewalls, and ICS components.Work with Honeywell and Rockwell Automation platforms (and ideally Siemens/ Schneider/Emerson).Support control system network upgrades, migrations, patch windows, and change control in coordination with operations.Align controls with ISA/IEC 62443 and relevant utility standards; contribute to risk assessments and audits.Create and maintain SOPs, standards, and diagrams; contribute to tabletop exercises and training.Serve as escalation for OT/ICS network incidents and performance issues.Partner with IT security to ensure safe interconnections between IT and OT (e.g., data diodes, brokers, one‑way transfer).Required QualificationsEducation & Experience5+ years in OT networking, ICS cybersecurity, or control system network support (utilities, energy, manufacturing, or similar critical infrastructure).Hands‑on experience with network support and OT support in live industrial environments.Strong routing/switching (OSPF/EIGRP, VLANs, trunking, STP), firewall policy design, NAT, and VPN technologies.Experience implementing network segmentation and DMZs for OT.Familiarity with Nozomi Networks (or similar: Claroty, Dragos) for OT visibility.Working knowledge of SCADA/DCS/PLC communications (e.g., Modbus, DNP3, OPC, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET).Certifications (one or more preferred)CCNP (Security or Enterprise) or CCIE (asset).Palo Alto certifications (PCNSA/PCNSE) are strong assets.Progress toward P.Eng. is a plus.Any ICS/OT security certification is an asset (e.g., GICSP, ISA/IEC 62443 certificates).Why Join Us?Impact – Be part of building cutting-edge products that make a real difference.Innovation – Work with forward-thinking leaders and the latest technologies.Culture – Inclusive, transparent and supportive team environment.Growth – Opportunities to grow personally and professionally.BenefitsDental care, Employee assistance program, Extended health care, Life insurance, Paid time off, RRSP match, Vision care #J-18808-Ljbffr
