**Description**

Our Client is seeking a Network Analyst to plan, implement and support an F5 Web Access Firewall.

**Skills**

**Experience Required/Mandatory Skills**
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field of study.
- MUST have Active F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator (F5-CA)/ F5 Certified Technical Specialist (F5-CTS)
- Direct involvement in developing best-practices documentation (for example, operational procedures, network diagrams, etc.). (8+ years)
- Experience in migrating, upgrading and optimizing F5 BIG-IP systems. (8+ years)
- Experience with Cisco layer 1-3 technologies, including the planning, design, and implementation, of an intermediate to large scale network infrastructure. (8+ years)
- Good understanding of network concepts, routing and switching and firewall security policy management. (8+ years)
- Should have extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience of F5 Big-IP LTM, BIG IP DNS, iRule development. (8+ years)
- Should have good knowledge of TCP/IP, IP routing, LAN and WAN protocols, HTTP/S understanding as it pertains to packet inspection and TCP flow in the Network and Application flows. (8+ years)
- Should have good L2-L3 troubleshooting skills including ability to analyze TCP dumps and should have good understanding of basic networking concepts. (8+ years)

**Nice To Have Skills**
- Experience preparing and presenting comprehensive information to technical teams, management and proponents. Including but not limited to contributing to assessment notes, geospatial maps, Logical Network Design diagrams, presentations, etc. Ability to assess the impact of technology changes and communicate this to multiple teams/departments, senior SA management, and other impacted stakeholders. (5+ years)
- Experience providing customer service technical troubleshooting and problem resolution. (5+ years)
- Experience using advanced oral and verbal communication skills with staff at all levels of an organization to address the value of service design. (5+ years)
- Experience with Alberta SuperNet or similar network. (5+ years)
- Experience with IPV6, including the planning, design, and implementation, in an intermediate to large scale networks infrastructure. (5+ years)
- Experience with networking aspects of Microsoft Windows desktop, servers, and nix-based servers. (5+ years)

**Location**
- Edmonton/Calgary/Hybrid

**Work Environment**
- 1 year with 1 possible 1-year extension

**Hourly Rate**
- Negotiable
