**Job Summary**:
This position will report to the IT Infrastructure Manager and is responsible for Server
management and providing second tier Help Desk Support.

**Responsibilities**:
The Systems Administrator is responsible for the integrity and confidentiality of all

corporate data.

Installation, configuration and support of Server hardware, software and related
infrastructure.

Monitor system performance and availability. Maintain Servers and SAN storage
infrastructure.

Perform data backup and recovery operations using Veeam v10x and Acronis V15.
Administer Nutanix 6.x, ESXi 6.7, Office 365, Antivirus EndPoint, VMware vSphere 6.5
systems.
Manage Microsoft Active Directory 2012/2016 user accounts, group policy and permissions.
Provide second tier IT support and backup the Help Desk IT Support technicians.
Work on strategic corporate projects and initiatives.
Provide backup support for the IT Infrastructure Manager in managing and supporting the IT
infrastructure.

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent is required.

MCSA Windows Server 2012/2016, Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS), or
equivalent experience.
5+ years of working experience at installing/configuring PC based hardware and software.
5+ years of experience administering Windows Server and maintaining Server hardware
platform.
Hands on experience in Microsoft Active Directory 2012/2016, VMware vSphere 6.5
Virtualization, 0ffice 365 administration, Backup, Corporate Antivirus (preferably Sophos),
Server Patching.
Exposure to network concepts, such as IP, LAN, WAN.
Nutanix experience an asset
Linux experience an asset
Must be willing to work after normal business hours or weekends occasionally
Personal work ethic. Attention to details. Self motivated. Maintain a high level of customer
service.
Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills.
Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment would be an asset
