**ROLE TITLE**:QUALITY ASSURANCE ASSOCIATE**

**REPORTS TO**:SUPERVISOR, QUALITY ASSURANCE REVIEW**

**SHIFT**:DAY 08:00-16:30**

Reporting to the Supervisor, Quality Assurance Review for the Steinbach site this position is responsible for the quality oversight including QA review and evaluation of various types of GMP documentation to determine disposition of in-process materials, bulk materials, and packaged product for Pharmaceutical and Natural Health Products

**Responsibilities**:

- QA lead for atypical events and investigations associated with manufacturing operations and analytical testing activities.
- Provides support and coaching with production and laboratory personnel regularly, including production floor presence, to ensure adequate communication and feedback for quality-related services to internal customers.
- Review executed GMP batch documentation to determine whether process and laboratory results meet the predetermined acceptance criteria for release meet business objectives.
- Maintain the Pharmaceutical CMO files/programs to ensure annual and Quality Agreement requirements are met.
- Write and revise Standard Operating Procedures to ensure compliance.
- Maintenance of SAP QM Module for release of inventory, and nonconformance reports.
- Review and approval of artwork for pharmaceutical products including Foreign Drug Listing activities.
- Prepare Quality Assessments and Technical reports, as required.
- Support Regulatory inspections and audits.
- Support lean initiates and 5S principles.
- Provide CI for the systems
- Participate in Site Project or Process Improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance to current Good Manufacturing Practices, Regulatory Requirements, and Occupational Health & Safety.

**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Science.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in quality assurance or a regulated environment.
- Strong computer and analytical skills including data collection, management and analysis.
- Working knowledge of the associated regulations that govern the pharmaceutical and natural health products industries.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and SAP preferred.

- A strong solution focus and high attention to details to identify problems and drive for results.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and commitments.
- Sense of urgency and flexibility.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
