**ROLE TITLE**:QUALITY CONTROL ANALYST (Term Position)**

**DEPARTMENT**:QUALITY CONTROL**

**REPORTS TO**:SUPERVISOR, QUALITY CONTROL**

**HOURS**:DAY SHIFT: 8:00 TO 16:30**

Reporting to the Quality Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for performing Quality Control testing for Pharmaceutical and Natural Health products.

This position is for 18 month term as Dissolution QC Analyst

**Responsibilities**:

- Participate in various Dissolution and wet-chemistry testing.
- Preparing required lab solutions, buffers, and standard solution.
- Performing routine analysis for in-process, finish products and stability samples as assigned using various chemical and instrumental techniques in accordance with established compendial and in-house testing methods.
- Operating and calibrating lab instruments on a daily basis or as required.
- Recognizing out-of-specification or out-of-trend results and assisting in the completion of lab investigation.
- Writing and revising SOP’s and STM’s.
- Ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices (cGMP) and regulatory requirements in manufacturing of pharmaceutical products.
- Participate in occupational health, safety, and wellness.

**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor of Science degree with a Major in Chemistry or related studies and/or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years’ experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment or Food Industry as QC Analyst.
- Working knowledge in Microsoft Office with a proficiency in Word and Excel.
- Working knowledge of the associated regulations that govern the pharmaceutical industry.

- Sense of urgency and flexibility.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
