**ROLE TITLE**:QUALITY CONTROL ANALYST**

**REPORTS TO**:SUPERVISOR, QUALITY CONTROL**

**HOURS**:EVENING SHIFT: 15:30 to 24:00**

Reporting to the Quality Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for performing Quality Control testing for Pharmaceutical and Natural Health products.

This position is for Chromatography
- **Responsibilities**:

- Analyze finished products/raw materials/stability samples using various chemical and instrumental techniques in accordance with established compendial and in-house testing methods.
- Operating and calibrating lab instruments on a daily basis or as required.
- Recognizing out-of-specification or out-of-trend results and assisting in the completion of lab investigation.
- Identifying and troubleshooting minor instrumental and analytical problems.
- Ensuring that the laboratory is clean and, in an audit, ready state.
- Writing and revising SOP’s and STM’s.
- Ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices (cGMP) and regulatory requirements in manufacturing of pharmaceutical products.
- Participate in the area of occupational health, safety, and wellness.

**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor of Science degree or diploma in Chemistry or related studies and/or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment or Food Industry.
- Working knowledge in Microsoft Office with a proficiency in Word and Excel.
- Hands on experience on various analytical instruments (HPLC, GC, FT-IR, UV).
- Working knowledge of the associated regulations that govern the pharmaceutical industry.

- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and commitments.
- Sense of urgency and flexibility.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
